Christ in us

Not to preach at you, but God can truly change your life. He has changed mine. Your mindset, your motivation, your love all changes with God in your life. This is Scotty and welcome to the 9th blog post here on the Limitless Living Blog. Thanks for tuning in.

I get up in the mornings and typically pray. I’m not the most consistent, but I do it. I asked God this morning what I should write on and I felt that He wanted me to write on Him. So here we are talking about Kingdom talk. God is gracious and merciful, we all understand that. He’s forgiving and loving. Way more than we can comprehend. He also set the standard. Jesus, while on earth, so the bar so high, we can’t obtain it. However, we can and should aim for it. The way He gave, what he did for others, putting them first. Jesus even washed His disciple’s feet! Come on. And we can’t be patient with someone who’s had a terrible day. Seriously? I’m included in this, I’m not letting myself off the hook. So we understand we need Him and we have to rely on Him. Otherwise, we’re not going to advance in our spiritual walk. We’re not going to advance in our love for others. We’re not going to advance in our relationships. Jesus made it simple what to do and to have faith. 

So even though we still mess up and sin daily, we can rely on His grace and mercy to get us through. Faith is all about God, not yourself. Looking to Him for wisdom and things we cannot control. Some things in life we can control. Other things we can’t, faith steps in.
