Limitless Living Blog #7 - It Takes Crazy Faith

It Takes Crazy Faith

Crazy faith. Something a lot of us have experienced. Something that most believers have come in contact with. One of the definitions of the word crazy is defined as: “extremely enthusiastic.” We’re going to use this definition today. We have already talked about what faith is defined as. If you haven’t checked out our first blog, I highly recommend going back and reading that. It’s all about faith. But according to the Word: “Faith shows the reality of what we hope for; it is the evidence of things we cannot see.”
‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭11‬:‭1‬ ‭NLT‬‬ So combining the two, leads to success.

My name is Scotty and thanks for tuning in. This is our seventh blog post here on the Limitless Living Blog. So crazy faith. It’s not actually crazy, it just seems that way sometimes, because life can be challenging. Let’s dive into it. I’m a firm believer that you need to have a certain level of faith in order to achieve and be what God has called you to be. Not only that, but a certain outlook on that faith, this being extremely enthusiastic. You see it time and time again in the Bible from Moses, Paul, Mary so on so forth. If these people didn’t have a certain level of faith, I don’t necessarily know if they would’ve accomplished the same things they did here on earth. Same goes for us, we need faith in order to have and become our calling. Our ministry if you will. Our dreams and goals. It takes a certain level of faith to obtain these. On top of that, we should be enthusiastic about this faith. According to the Word: ““You don’t have enough faith,” Jesus told them. “I tell you the truth, if you had faith even as small as a mustard seed, you could say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it would move. Nothing would be impossible.””
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭17‬:‭20‬ ‭NLT‬‬

So this tells us that it can even be as small as a mustard seed. Not saying we can’t have more faith or that we shouldn’t, but this example Jesus gave is very small faith. And with this very small faith, we see how powerful it is. So if we increase it, with “extreme enthusiasm” I can’t even imagine where God would take us. I can’t imagine what dreams of ours would come true. This is the reality of the situation. We need faith to move forward. The Bible tells us that it’s impossible to please God without faith.

We not only need to have faith, but we need to be extremely enthusiastic about it. Crazy faith. Just combining these two words and leaning into it, could change your entire outlook on life. That change would be transformational and not just transactional. That’s where the change happens. That’s where it finally clicks in our brains, saying this is possible. I’m going to go for it.

Process

1. Figure out with self assessing and being honest with yourself, where your faith meter stands.

2. Rather it lacks or is in overflow, learn from  certain people in the Bible and in your everyday life you see today, who move with a certain level and enthusiasm with their faith.

3. Become who God created you to be, using extreme enthusiasm faith, otherwise known in this example as crazy faith.
