Don’t Settle

Last blog post, I talked about never giving up. This blog post correlates with that, but goes one step further. Instead of just not giving up, we don’t need to settle. What do I mean? My name is Scotty and welcome to the 55th blog post here on the Limitless Living Blog. Thanks for tuning in.

 In every part of life, at some point, we’ve settled for average or mediocre. Some of us have settled for below average in certain areas of life. My question is, why? Why do we do that as humans? Because it’s uncomfortable, or hard not to settle? Why isn’t it hard or uncomfortable to settle? This is one of the many reasons, as humans, we need to serve God. God does not do mediocre, nor will He ever. So why should we? We are made in His image. We need to walk in that confidence and determination to be excellent. Not perfect, but excellent. Settling is a state of mind, and we need to avoid it at all costs.
