Don’t Waver
This 48th blog is blunt, truthful, and honest. I suggest reading it and letting it mold you, instead of making you bitter.
Christians, including myself, waver when it comes to finances. Why? Part of it is a scarcity mentality, a part of it is simply fear, and some act like money isn't important. This drives me insane, once again, including myself. Yes, I get on my own nerves having these wavering thoughts when it comes to money. Why? Because we say one thing and believe another. That’s a part of insanity. The Bible, which all true believers believe, says that we are the head and not the tail, we are lenders and not borrowers, we are above and not beneath. Yet somehow in our faith, we are scared when it comes to money. We act like God has limited resources. Are you serious? Look, I'm telling myself this too, I'm writing to myself, as well as you. Either believe one or the other. Don't waver when it comes to God. God himself said to be either hot or cold, because He hates when you're lukewarm. Of course, He was talking about your faith, not money. But don't bring your wavering lukewarm mess into God’s masterpiece. If you're struggling to believe this, ask God for help. But don't fight these negative thoughts alone. Either believe you are the lender, or don't. Don't look at your current circumstances either. Your bank account may have 5.00 in it. I don't care. You believe in yourself, that's changing. You believe for your family, that's changing. You believe for those around you, that's changing. I'm so tired of the “woe is me” mentality in the Church. We believe in miracles for healing physically, mentally, and emotionally, yet have fear when it comes to money. It doesn't make sense! Why aren't pastors preaching on this more? Look, maybe I'm coming off as harsh. But this is the truth. I rarely go to Church and hear pastors preach on money. How to manage it, how to build wealth, how to give. We are acting like God didn't give us gifts to make money. Are we serious? Once again, guys, I'm preaching to us, including myself. I had to keep guard not to fall into a mental trap when it comes to money, rather than fear or anything negative. The devil is a liar, and he will cause you to go into fear mode. It's real, I've been there. Ask God to take that away. Start moving into a wealth mindset. Stop believing the “woe is me” mindset. I didn't tell you to chase money. I said to choose a mindset that was going to move the needle in your life. The needle that goes from empty to full.
