Self-Worth

Self-worth, for me, is a sensitive/confusing topic. Why? Because where’s the line between self-worth and arrogance? What’s also the line between “self-worth” and trusting God, rather than self? It confuses me, because I’m a very X’s and O’s person. It is this, and this is that. It’s tough for me to see between that. One of those is “self-worth”. My brain tells me it’s either arrogance or confidence in self. That is not the case. Self-worth is a very real thing. If you use it correctly, it is not arrogance at all. God made you exactly the way you are, yet we doubt His creation (ourselves). That’s lacking self-worth. That’s not seeing Who’s you are and Who you come from. That’s real self-worth, knowing both of those. The Bible clearly states we are the head, not the tail, we are above and not beneath. We are created in His image. His image is more than perfect. He knows exactly what He’s doing, and He said; the world needs ______ (insert your name) on this earth. He put you here for a reason. Know who you are, and get around the right people. Get to know your gifts and talents if you don’t already. Use them wisely for the Kingdom. Demonstrate God’s love for others. Be you!
