Give your all
Give everything you can give. Give your marriage all you have. Give your gifts and talents all you have. Surrender to advance. Welcome to the 30th blog post here on the Limitless Living Blog. My name is Scotty. Thanks for tuning in.
To “give your all”, what does that mean? What does that look like? I think a-lot of us have more to give, yet we limit ourselves when it hurts. When it’s painful, we quit. When it’s tough, we give in. What if we just never gave up. (Not saying life is fair or that life is easy). It certainly is not. Life is unfair. Life will indeed knock you down. But if we never gave up, where would we be? If we never gave up on our faith, where would we be placed. In what capacity could God use us? Oh my my my. Wow. It almost makes you speechless really thinking about it. I have yet to meet anyone who didn’t regret some form of giving up. Yet I’ve met many people who have regretted giving up at some point in their lives. God is so good, that He does give us grace. However, that doesn’t mean that we don’t have consequences of giving up, and not giving our all. I have many instances where I think to myself: “man I wish I didn’t give up.”
If you do give up on something, there’s good news. First off, as I mentioned, grace. Secondly, we have an opportunity for an amazing bounce back. Amazing isn’t it? We can have an amazing story of how we got up, dusted ourself off, and kept going.
Process:
- Enjoy life, and don’t take it so seriously.
- Don't give up! If you do, it’s okay. Grace is so good.
- Give all, and I mean all, glory to God!
