Bold and Conquer
In life, there are many ways we can go. Many ways we can face the realities of life. One way is timid and fearful. One way is bold and conquering. I’ve done both many times. Way more than I can count. I’ve learned, the hard way, I can’t act like there’s zero issues, when I see them clearly. I can’t ignore problems, they aren’t going away. (Even though it feels good in the moment to forget the bad). Welcome, my name is Scotty. This is our 23rd blog post here on the Limitless Living Blog. Thanks for tuning in.
Bold and conquer isn’t a way of reacting, but simply a way of life. In moments, we can be bold and conquering. But I have to beg this question; “why not all of the time?” Why do we turn off that bold and conquering aspect of our brain? I’ve turned it off so many times, but I have to ask myself why I do? To be honest, it may be lack of confidence. It may also be a place of unfamiliarity that I’m in. It has been lack of faith before. Regardless of the specificity, we have to stop that. “For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline.”
2 Timothy 1:7 NLT
This verse confirms all we are talking about today. We aren’t soft as Christians. That’s a huge misconception. We believe in the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and end. I promise anyone, He isn’t soft. He’s bold like a lion. We were made in His image. We need to be bold. We need to conquer. Not lay down when it gets rough. When did God quit in the Bible? Never! Why should we? Seriously, think about it. We call ourselves bold and our faith strong, but we don’t live it out? That’s lying to ourselves.
Process:
- Pray to God for a renewed mindset.
- Be honest with yourself in your mindset. Is it bold or timid? Conquering or doubtful?
- Get from around the wrong people, and surround yourself with bold members of Christ.
