Sometimes, as humans, our egos get in the way. We need help, and deep down we know it, but refuse to ask for it. I hate to admit it, but including myself a ton of times. Why? I think for some of us it’s how people view us, for others it’s a spirit of entitlement, and for some it might simply be a lack of confidence/self-esteem. We all need help. I need help, you need help. Rather from our spouse, colleague, pastor, mentor, or friend. We all need help. We need a circle of influence that is good for us. That pulls us in the right direction. “Help!” A four-letter word used in many ways. But we all need it. Billionaires need help just like someone working for minimum wage. Help looks different for different people. And the good thing is, it’s okay. Some need help financially, and others may need help in their marriage. Regardless of where the help comes from, there has not been one human on this earth who has not needed help at some point. Advice, mentorship, and help getting to the next level. We need to put our pride aside and simply ask someone for help. It’s not a curse word, it’s an honest word. Even Jesus had 12 disciples. Of course, I know Jesus could’ve done it Himself, but He set a perfect example of showing us how to work with others. To help others. To encourage one another.
