5:00pm - On

I’ve learned by studying millionaires/billionaires. One important key I’ve learned is this: they keep working past 5:00pm. A lot of them don’t stop working on their craft at 5:00pm. They keep working past “punching in the clock”. Why am I saying this? Because I’ve realized that if I want to become the best economic version of myself, I can’t quit at 5:00pm. I can’t quit at 4:00pm, or even 6:00pm. There is definitely time for rest, but also for work. The Bible says: “Sow your seed in the morning, and at evening let your hands not be idle, for you do not know which will succeed, whether this or that, or whether both will do equally well.”

So the Bible says to have multiple ventures. Why aren’t we? The Bible clearly says what to do financially and with work, yet we don’t obey it. Why? Laziness, arrogance maybe, maybe low confidence? At some point in my life, I’ve had all of these pop up. Your work ethic has to fight these as well as humbleness. When you combine work ethic and humbleness, you can become an amazing worker, even past 5:00pm.
