Limitless Living #57 - Hard Work > Ego

Hard Work > Ego

I've learned this the hard way. When I was younger, I used to have an ego about a lot of things. The reasoning behind that was completely different for different reasons. But I've come to learn that the person who works hard at their craft, either has confidence in themselves, or eventually will. That confidence is worth a billion dollars. Matter of fact, it’s worth than any amount of money. My name is Scotty and welcome to the 57th blog post here on the Limitless Living Blog. Thanks for tuning in.

Hard work carries a person very far in life. It’s a “reap what you sow” situation. If you sow hard work on your craft, you see what you sow. Same thing with ego. Ego reaps consequences. “But those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭23‬:‭12‬ ‭NLT‬‬
In Matthew, Jesus is telling this clearly. Humble yourself and you'll be exalted. Vice versa too. Hard work can replace ego with confidence. You can work hard and have an ego, but just let it go. Confidence carries you further in life. Also, you're more attractive when you’re confident rather than cocky. Not from a relationship/dating perspective. I mean from a personality perspective. In your business, career, field of work, etc. Don't make God humble you. Please learn from this or from someone else/a mentor.
